I used to go to Micro Cap Conferences and in my experience the only people that are there are either in desperate need of cash and set themselves up as prey.... or the predictors/parasites that are more than willing to claim another victim.
Companies that are diligently working on the execution of their business plan don't have time to make the rounds
same with the firm sponsored "plate licker specials". The company hires a firm to put them in front of "brokers and investors". The firm then calls their shills in the respective cities and the pitch is "Hey Rocco, hows it going? Wanted to let you know that I will be hosting a dinner or a Meet/Greet next week at the Four Seasons. I want you to be there and bring some people with you... there will be a open bar and dinner. The only thing I ask is to ACT EXCITED and ask the CEO at least one question"
