And as your answer shows, she was not APPOINTED to her current judge position, as your orig post stated. Big difference between a nomination & an apointment. Also that nomination was not to her current position. Thanks for clearing that up...that she was not appointed to her current job by Obama. Just wanted to make sure my memory was correct about the research I had previously done.

Maybe it's just my misunderstanding of the info available or semantics or misworded reports.

The way I read it, she was 1st APPOINTED as a judge by republican Schwarzenegger in 2008. I further read that she was NOMINATED, as opposed to appointed (I think?) by obama in 2010 and that NOMINATION was subject to senate approval. In a bipartisan 90 - 0 vote, she was approved. Repeat - - 90 to zero!
