It would most likely be part shares / part cash. On the shares part, Medtronic goes for $100 per so it would never be 1 to 1. Let’s just say it was a buyout of 3b in total and there were 60m shares of tmdi outstanding. The PPS at buyout would be $50. Say you owned 5,000 shares of Titan or $250,000 worth and opted for ALL Medtronic stock. You would wind up with Approx 2,500 shares of Medtronic my mang in this example. Thing is They can sell units big time and the deal would eventually increase their PPS in a HUGE way ! Revenue would skyrocket for them
