Wolf . . . I don't know how you do it, but it is amazing how you come up with all these old sound clips. I really enjoyed the one with Bill Bailey. It took me back to the old days. He would appear with my band when we played in Louisville. Back then, having a jock to come and sort of endorse you was a big deal. He came, made some wise-cracks, introduced us and then would mingle with the crowd. He wouldn't stay long. He left WAKY to go over to WKLO. It was a big deal because KLO was second in ratings behind WAKY. KLO scored big when they got him to abandon the WAKY ship. He certainly had a unique voice, and was brilliant with his ad libs. I always wanted to know where he was from because of his accent, but always forgot to ask! Sounds like New York perhaps. Anyway, I read every and all of your posts. Thanks for the hard work digging all this stuff up.
