#7998 RE: vhgier #7994

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. These attacks on Barry seem misplaced to me. He believes what we longs believe about this stock and for the same reasons. He has a following which is helpful to longs. He is not dumb, he is a character, but that is not the same thing. But, and this is the point, he gets attacked by those who have acted like the short conspirators on this board. Why? He is dangerous to them. So what do they want to do? Discredit him...and get our side fighting among ourselves.

I have said before that I think the shorts are in real trouble on this one. If they have really naked shorted into the millions as some have suggested, then they didn't completely cover in this attack. I think they may even be in deeper. They will do what they can to roil our emotions and get us aiming at each other.

As to the claim that there is a rich guy who is going to sue, I have no information about the truth of that either way, but, I can tell you, that rich people are equipped with the same emotional apparatus as the rest of us. If we were angry at this, then a rich person invested would likely be angry as well. If I filed a complaint on the SEC public facing complaint form, then a rich person would likely file a complaint as well. The difference is that the rich person could hire a high powered lawyer to get a sit down with someone at the SEC and possible the DOJ, and I probably couldn't. I have no reason to disbelieve the claim there is a rich person who is going after Hindenburg, although I have no verification. And, truth be told, I hope it is true.
