If a stock starts to move up, the momo players come in a push it up further. I wonder if the same thing happens in a short attack like this. If so, then the shorts may just be distributing their short problems to others. However, for a momo player to short this stock would require they could get a borrow, which, word has it, is very tight. So, not sure, it might be that the shorts are just in deeper.
