Bruce did nothing but pa rump a pump pump....so now that Bruce is gone and you disagree with what has happened (even laughably comparing him to Steve jobs) are you going to sell your shares? If not, why would you keep them knowing that the messiah has been neutered and you are left with burnt toast? I told you guys long ago Bruce has created a mess. I read a post here today that said something about making 2000% which I guess is a reference to the share price, but it has nothing to do with building a viable sustainable profitable business. That 2000% is long gone and only existed because the general masses don’t understand what it takes to build a business and what the real important numbers are. Most here only have the capacity to look at the top line number and if that’s growing well gosh darn this must be a good investment. Lucky for them the industry was so hot that people bought into the idea of top line growth. Moving forward profitability will be king. Which means gross margin is the number real investors are focusing on....at 16% canopy is dead in the water and constellation knows this....they are now in scramble mode to save their investment here....gotta give Bruce some credit, he sucked them in for sure.....

Exactly it was the "institutional pressure for profit" I don't think it was Sands,, it was what was pressuring STZ that simple minded focus will likely goof it up, you now have a ship with no one at the wheel. You don't make alliances, partnerships, coligues and than dump the one that made them. That just plain stupid. My opinion

I suspect that Dogger is largely correct - Bruce created all kinds of top-line growth (which is not too hard to do)....
He was a talker - a stock promoter - That's all Linton was. A charismatic blond blue-eyed Ontario suburbanite.

I now see a future with TONS of writedowns - AusCann, Nine, Dr. X, Snoop Dog, Martha, 15 others

Time to get down to actually running a business (as opposed to just constructing a mirage)

why he even admitted that his main gig was speaking to an audience.

A pivotal juncture in Canopys' history (5 weeks before Linton was canned).....Yesterdays low equaled $ 50 bucks.
