check out the link I attached. it explaims the Winterization process much better than I can. I am pretty sure this was the article Sal was quoting. Winterization is a form of refining the CBD for better purity. A good question is how did they manfacture and fill so many bottles with oil without the machinery? remember the Video of all the Dropper bottles with "oil" in them. the oil looked a lot like water to me.
