Agreed that the trades data on iHub is useless for looking at trend. From my own personal experience. Just wondered if there was a definitive answer to break the code on their trades data. Thanks. GLA and have a better weekend!
This notion creates mis-conceptions and false information, based solely on L2 timing.
If someone puts in an AON order the MM will not post to L2 until it is filled. Even though the AON existed before the fulfilling order it shows as later on the tape. Thist situation reverses the actual timing of trade so what iHub posts regarding "buys" & "sells" is the exact opposite.
Unless you know exactly the source of the two components of the trade (i.e. you ARE the MM) you cannot determine which person is more eager (which is the goal of the fake nuance, correct?)
