Yep, appleman. Listed all those before as the foundation for what he's accomplished personally and as our CEO. But, somehow, you know, it's just not enough. It's just so easy to take a company from scratch to PAYDAY in nanoseconds.

To each their own. I'm perfectly satisfied with my CEO. This company. Today and in the future.

GLTA! Holding the Golden!!!

If you think about it, without any of the qualifications you listed, apple, it's likely there would be no KBLB, research, patents, vietnam factory, or breaking into a new industry with this kind of promise, and we'd be here forever trying to make and sell lactose free spider silk milk! Every link in anyone's life or even before that makes all of us what we are. and I'm glad Kim took the time out of his life to choose to do this, and I thank him for the benefit I've already received.

Warren Buffett has said you should invest in things that you can understand and relate to, so I'm glad this was one of Mr Thompson's interests. Having been into nature, silkworms and entomology I can also relate to what he's doing by partnering science with nature and a silk industry that already works, rather than the companies that are creating everything from scratch. Spiders are quite a leap to goats and bacteria, but at least KBLB have chosen two species with exoskeletons that spin thread to begin with.

Being invertebrates, Spiders and Insects are a much closer match according to evolution, and obviously a lot closer to each than Spiders to Mammals, or bacteria to any insect or mammal. It takes some interest, wisdom, and common sense to approach the problem of spider silk creation without making it even more difficult to do.

Apparently Insects and Spiders are the largest species in number and the most successful invertebrate according to evolution, so let's hope they can lend that success to the creation of Kraigs labs Spider Silk and this new industry! Hmm, come to think of it, lactose free Spider Milk could be a big seller too!
