It is disappointing, discouraging, and derelict for them not to have provided a MEANINGFUL update by now: months ago we heard “we’re working on our paper.” But that could mean any number of VERY different things: has the draft of the paper been submitted to a journal? Has it been accepted for publication? Is it therefore under final revision? We deserve to know!
