serious question: Some of the military generals were advocating sending up to 400,000 troops to Iraq in the beginning... was that possible at the time? or would there have needed to be a draft to do that? back in 2002

yeah - like they "thought" they volunteered for a cake walk or, like the liberal prisons - a room, free meals, and color cable tv!
