Yep, said Dell spends about a half a billion on R and D (which doesn't seem like much for a 40 billion dollar co.)and they contract with many manufacturers to make their products. Dell has a hand in the whole supply chain but they do not reveal who their manufacturing partners are and don't intend to do so.
Med.rare - Well if that's the case we may have to wait until Nov. 15th or so to find out if we are indeed working with Dell. The financials should be out by then.... on second thought we may not know even then, but we should at least find out who the Asian OEM is. If it's Mitsubishi or Wistron we might be able to connect the dots.
