Even under Chapter 11 and Chapter 15, most equity is completely wiped out. Chapter 7 is not required to cancel the common shares - Most of the time, it happens regardless of the Chapter, since the law requires ALL the classes in front of the equity be 100% satisfied for the equity to survive. The same is true for CCAA which is why most CCAA cases also result in the complete elimination of old equity.

That has not, and will not, happen here. The equity (common stock) will be cancelled. Anyone holding BIOAQ common shares will lose 100% of their investment.
