Annoyance. Frustration. Excitement and optimism. That's what I'm feeling. Hmmm you be right, this is a bargain. First to the annoyance and frustration that today's news didn't move the dial (only down 2 cents). Does this stock or this sector trade in a logical fashion? No. We are still in OTC land and most importantly, still at the beginning of the CBD industry. The Jan 1 Farm Bill officially launched that industry, but it is still the Wild West. We don't have institutional investors (short-sighted cowards - yes, I know some of them have "rules" about investing in OTC or a stock < $5, but when this bending the rules a little ever stop institutions?). Despite the lack of SP movement, we are still the best CBD company in the world. GRAS. Profits. Thousands of stores. Published articles. High quality standards. Award winning products. A great leadership team. And a big lead on others. Guarantee of success? No. But a pretty damn fine start, and I'm hanging in there. If you're looking to turn a profit on 5000 shares and then rinse and repeat, good luck! I doubt it can be done with any reliability, although some have claimed otherwise.

Now to the excitement and optimism. This paper is big. It's the beginning. A controlled clinical trial - guess who loves that? FDA. It's the gold standard in pharma and CVSI is acting like a big boy/girl. And as SpaceLady said, they can now write some new indications on their label. Others cannot (if they do, it is false labeling and FDA will ask them to stop). The market just doesn't understand the value of this (yet) because there is a lot of misinformation about CBD and plenty of companies peddling it. The cream will rise to the top, but we didn't see an appropriate price pop. Mentioned it to my wife and she simply said, "maybe the market needs a few days to digest." Hmmm. Wise advice. Part of our problem (oh yeah and MY problem), is that we have these expectations that are perhaps unreasonable. We may be too far from the pivot point for investors to get the significance of this study and this company but I think that day will come. Patience is needed.

Why else be excited? Because Dowling said on Yahoo to expect more announcements like the Kroger one. That's pretty understated but strong. Oh and the drug candidate is progressing. People don't get that this takes time. A lot of tests need to be done, and I am sure they ain't gonna apply unless they're pretty sure of success.

So short time annoyance and frustration I can take because the fundamentals of this company are monstrous, the potential of the sector gynormous, the first mover advantage of CVSI impressive, and the talented leadership team strength all point toward a massively successful company and a commensurate stock valuation. Not today, not tomorrow, but you can't hold this bear down for too much longer.

My advice: if you're an investor, stay patient. If you're a trader, stop griping about what a POS this is, because it is very difficult to day or week trade. Move on to something else.

Happy Monday to all.
