Is this company SEC reporting? If they are and they’re more than three years behind with their filings the SEC will start sending out notices to them.

Pardon me for asking are they SEC or alternative reporting status?

Wouldn't work. Look what happened with Avant. The OIP was announced, and served on Avant. Avant protested that it'd finally just finished all its financials, and could file them immediately.

The SEC told them to pound sand.

And that is what happens to EVERY delinquent filer, once an OIP is served. Sure, the company can request a hearing, but that would only be a waste of money.
