Don't know of the other stock of which you speak. What caused the sudden spike?

In this case with VYST, the merger is not unexpected. And, that being a "given" at this point, I believe some of the merger excitement (jump in PPS) is already priced in.

I simple don't see the merger as all that.
Truly don't expect to see 10¢ off this news. Or the stock would have done better recently. Instead, we have seen more red days than green.
