Oilin07, yes. The people picking stocks today are NOT “investors”. They are momo players. Scavengers who pick what they can off of companies not doing well and then move on to their next target. They don’t identify good prospects and INVEST in them while they are down.

They just can’t rationalize that GE stock prices are at prime levels to invest in because GE has someone at the helm who is fixing the problems one by one. That the stock could possibly double or triple in the next 18-24 months (depending upon the economy and what happens with the market).

But they don’t want to wait that long to try to score (an AGE for them). Instead, they call it “dead money” and look for quick money elsewhere. The only problem is, momo plays can quickly go bad on you. Half the time you lose money guessing wrong on the direction of the stock.

You do also realize GE may never be worth what it once was. Keep that in mind
