I think you nailed Matthew's persona on the head. I've only seen that one address to shareholders from Mark. He seemed kind of corny too, but I could also see where he could probably put the fear in you to make stuff happen.
I'm extremely antsy to hear from Matthew how the conference went. Obviously the ultimate goal is to get better financing, but networking events like these can open doors to new opportunities. Sounds like there may have been entrepreneurs and investors from all over there. Could be an inroad for Matthew to have an East Coast counterpart for expanding their brand.
It may be a stretch, but there was gentleman by the name of Andrey Gidaspov (he's one of the angel investors) who responded to (and retweeted) the "Great job today Guys!" tweet to @inndstock who said "What an awesome event today, thank you @Connectpreneur and especially, Tien Wong!" His profile information says "Entrepreneur | Fundraiser | Connector | Founder of Fundrzr TV and 100 Non-Profits Initiative | Harness the Power of Connection: Raise Your First Million, Fast!"
I'm all about inferring clues, but he is the only other one who seems to have publicly acknowledged Innerscope so far as having connected with them. He has over 4K tweets so I'm guessing he has some wits about him.
This one is interesting to me because there is a Sacramento Startup Grind chapter that is directed by Rich Foreman (https://www.startupgrind.com/u/RichForeman/) who is the CEO of Apptology (http://apptology.com/) Maybe they can help Matthew's Nexus manufacturer's out on their app issue.
I'd also like to see where Kevin Harrington plays into the picture. How is he helping Innerscope with their market penetration?
