Seems clear to me that some institution or other very large holder is trying to get out. Essex and Perritt were our two largest institutional holders. As of the last reported numbers, they had 360K shares and they were selling. If they have been competing to sell shares, it is easy to see how thia could have dropped this far.

I see the volume as a positive. As they say, volume before price.

Still, it would be nice to see this pull up into the mid-4s and then get some news -- but hopefully not until Essex and Perritt are out of the picture.

perhaps, but the stock did close at a bid of $3.58 x $3.70. It was there for the last 1/2 hour of the day without the ask dropping like it always has before.
