Dutch owned food Lion

I live in the 3rd largest city in Kentucky, which is still not very big. Population 125,000. Food Lion has come to our city twice in the past two decades, and both times folded from competition from Kroger. We have had three other super large chains to come in here in the past 25 years, including Win-Dixie, Mega Mart, and Schnucks. All didn't last very long at all. Schnucks was gone in 6 months because Kroger opened a store right beside them!
