Thank you taking this up. Let see it how it could work:
1) if the other party writes a term sheet then I wonder about nothing anymore. Who leads the negotiation? Who writes, who leads! Very bad sign.
2) they even have no term sheet? It takes if they are very fast 1 month to agree on a termsheet, but rather longer. With Chinese I experienced 6 months and no end.
3) then lawyers will do their job. Add another 2 months
4) even just a license agreement it will have its closing conditions. Might not very complex, but at least another 1 or 2 months.
6) all together the very best case 4 months. Means we see leafs falling from the trees.
But what disturbs me the most: waiting for others term sheet. No monentum!
