Those patents will not stop what has already been done ... And continues to be done with big money behind it.
TTCM claims great victory in this primitive software ... and really likes it's patents. But the big boys have patents too ... like I have said a million times ... you can patent anything but they are useless if nobody needs or wants to use them.
If they can monetize those grey boxes with consumer dollars more power to them ... But given this companies history .. the only income they will receive will be from misguided investors and creating bad debt..
