Thanks KarinCA I practiced that same regiment with my Niagen. Something makes me wonder about my coffee intake (one powerful cup in the morning only) and if Niagen somehow extended its effects on my system? Also no alcohol was taken for 90 days during the Niagen use as I know alcohol can affect sleep.
I may retry in a few weeks a reduced dose of 150 milligrams.

I also take mine first thing in the morning and have no problem sleeping at night. I’ve been taking for about 6-7 months and have experienced a general well being improvement, my memory issues seem to have stabilized but no improvement in joint pain yet.

I talked with and have written the company several times to ask if there is a blood test that actually measures NAD. I wanted a baseline so I could actually see if an increase was indeed measurable. I never received an answer that made sense, only that I should ask my doctor about a blood test. I suggested that in order for them to be able to claim an increase in NAD, they had to be using some sort of measurement to validate their claim. The girl said she would ask their board and get back to me. She did get back to me but only to say their claim was based on intricate scientific data and I’d have to see if my doctor knew of a blood test that measured the levels of NAD.
