Has any big oil signed up and drilled in the EEZ yet. I haven't kept up with the EEZ. ERHC had 100% interest in blocks 4 & 11...since 2010...right? That was 9 years ago. Has there been any interest from any companies that have the resources to actually drill?
Then I saw.... In October 2015, ERHC and the ANP-STP announced an agreement in principle to terms of a PSC for Block 4 of the São Tomé and Principe EEZ.
ERHC also agreed to transfer all ERHC's rights to EEZ Block 11 to Kosmos Energy. I didn't keep up to see what ERHC recieved in return.
So I don't know much current about our progress in the EEZ. Do we have any other interests in the EEZ. Any prospect of anything positive here? I thought I remembered the possibility of 15% interests in 2 other blocks. Did that ever happen?
This is the reason for not buying any additional shares at todays prices. I don't see the JDZ getting any interest again....unless something changes. And I don't know if we are just twidilling our thumbs in the EEZ.
Maybe someone can bring me up to speed with the EEZ. If not....that's OK. I'll just continue to keep an eye on ERHC.
