Glow in the dark roads?? I am not all that sure the salt would be a saleable product (or one you could give away.) The water that is in the carbonatite formation has traces of Thorium and Uranium. It is mildly radioactive. I am not a chemist but I believe the RO process would leave these elements in the salt. Not near Elk Creek, but there are areas in Nebraska where Uranium is mined. This is solution mining in which hot water is pumped down wells and minerals are disolved and pumped out.
