Reading their name threw me for a loop as well. I was under the impression all this drama was because they were trying to secure funding with a legit investment bank.
Auctus Fund type lenders (i.e.: Posner, Sassano, Kramer, Honig) are dime a dozen around these parts.
Its cannabis... you cant get loans from banks... yet...
Cannabis is still illegal in federal eyes and until its legalized or the banking bill goes through there isn't that many options to get multimillion dollar loans from.
