Yeah, Doc, I suppose so. But in the case of FNMA, it seems that the litigants were more interested in pursuing DAMAGES than "right vs. wrong" and so they abandoned the road to the true route to RIGHT behavior. This is maybe where we lost our way as shareholders. We passively let the hedge funds do the expensive heavy lifting in legal challenges and we hoped to ride the coattails to an "el cheapo" win.
The criminal charges should have been filed in 2008-09, or in 2012-13 over the NWS. Can that be reversed now? Looking to me like maybe NOT.
