#304 RE: dinogreeves #302

I think the consulting is more likely a pay off for the ex-CEO
to go away quietly.

Next week? ... or July 23rd?

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Obalon Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) has established Tuesday, July 23, 2019 as the date of the Company’s 2019 annual meeting of stockholders (the “2019 Annual Meeting”). Because the date of the 2019 Annual Meeting has changed by more than 30 days from the anniversary date of the Company’s 2018 annual meeting of stockholders (the “2018 Annual Meeting”), in accordance with Rule 14a-5(f) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), the Company is informing stockholders of such change. The exact time and location of the 2019 Annual Meeting will be specified in the Company’s proxy statement for the 2019 Annual Meeting.

Because the date of the 2019 Annual Meeting has been changed by more than 30 days from the anniversary of the 2018 Annual Meeting, a new deadline has been set for submission of proposals by stockholders intended to be included in the Company’s proxy statement for the 2019 Annual Meeting. In order for a proposal under Rule 14a-8 under the Exchange Act to be considered timely, it must be received by the Company on or prior to 5:00 p.m., eastern time, June 9, 2019 at the Company’s principal executive offices at 5421 Avenida Encinas, Suite F, Carlsbad, California, 92008, directed to the attention of the Corporate Secretary, which the Company believes is a reasonable time before it expects to provide notice and access to its proxy materials. Any proposal received after such date will be considered untimely. All such proposals must be in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in order to be considered for inclusion in the Company’s proxy statement for the 2019 Annual Meeting.

"Yes it does, he is paid 40,000 dollars a month on this new contract. Geez man, I thought this company was in deep financial distress, but how is it that they can afford to pay him 40,000 dollars as consultant to the company not even a CEO, again, which leads me to believe that they have him as liaison between OBLN and J&J, but yes, next week will be definitely interesting. We will find out the true direction of the stock sometime next week."
