SilkRoad, the first thing that comes to my mind concerning mass production is how many Vietnamese women and men are going to be involved in unwinding the cocoons and reeling the silk. I see a lot of cost in that although we have to cover our cost plus make a good profit.
I am the type of person that wants to look behind the scenes and see what is involved in producing tonnage not just several pounds for shoot packs for the military.
Am I making this more complicated than it really is. Maybe the methods are more sophisticated now to capture and process the silk and less labor intensive. I will admit that I am strictly a novice in regard to my knowledge of processing silk.
