If LTBR didn't get significant help from Framatome with the DOE grant applications the JV makes little sense. Framatome obviously has top talent capable of getting grants why wouldn't they help LTBR with theirs? The fact LTBR failed twice however seems to indicate Framatome didn't participate to a significant degree. I would love to understand WTF is going on. We all know Seth is at best an eloquent speaker on matters of nuclear advocacy but lacks competence in all other leadership realms so it's better if he is merely a figure head while Framatome does the lifting. Perhaps his ego prevented this or perhaps the JV doesn't facilitate such arrangements? It is troubling they were rejected twice. They seem to be flapping in the wind but there are points of intrigue like Nuscale and the elusive utility contract.
