Not really considering ceramic and metal projects are going on in NJ. At least 2 Senior research Engineers were hired for that location. Gill definitely has ceramics experience like Si3N4 but more particularly SiC. You can get all that from his linkedin profile.
Furthermore wouldnt adding ceramic coating to TM via PVD or Brazing make sense? I mean it does have issues with osteointegration.
