That is true, but remember that plants need a certain number of daylight hours for photosynthesis and night ours which is when they oxygen. Additionally, the daylight hours are not constant during the three stages of growth to proper flowering. With proper lighting and ventilation and controlled daylight hours you can grow anything any time.

That's great for high grade MJ because yield is worth the energy spent vs the price per ounce. Hemp is a different story seed, stalks, and flowers command a different price per pound or ton. It is more likely that seedlings are started indoors and transplanted.

Alas, I am not a farmer so don't take my word for it. I hardly think anyone in that area planted that early. Just saying. I did some research.
