it will happen because the army liked ds2..what else?...
as it stands right now, I don't see any contract existing with the army...we DID have one..and kim screwed that one up..he no doubt promised them the moon, made dumb decisions, took way too long, and the army got tired of waiting years for something that shouldn't have taken more than a few months..
OBVIOUSLY kblb wasn't ready for an army contract...not production wise, not financially...and not leadership wise....that contract was managed incompetently...
as far as I can tell, kim finally came up with ds2 but by the time he did, the army decided they didn't care, decided not to give kblb another dime from the contract and kblb never sent them the silk...
can something be salvaged from the wreckage?...maybe..
is the army waiting for mass production?... I don't know...but it sure couldn't hurt..
will the army like ds2?....I don't know
will we be able to get in with the army using polartecs back door?..
if we do, will polartec be ok with kblb still trying to do its own deal with the army?..
lots and lots of questions...
if we get a big deal with the army, I don't know that rolling around on the floor is the proper response...
