It`s been real busy at work, had one of my staff resign to look after her grandchild while her daughter goes back to work and she will be sorely missed, as was worth her weight in gold and if you knew her, that`s alot of gold!!
I suppose I have been in a quiet period myself this last week or two, was fed up with all the doom and gloom on the boards and the negativity and that`s just not me.
All I have heard is there are several PR`s ready to come out.
My personal thoughts and this is all they are, is if Thanksgiving is a quiet week for your markets or maybe shut, if so, please advise, then if we are to expect a decent announcement next week, not saying there will be, but lets just surmise there will be and the short position has increased lets say, then in a quiet week or none trading for a few days, then it is not a bad time to release a sizeable PR on the day before your markets close for Thanksgiving next Thursday.
It would cause panic to the shorts if we are led to believe the announcement will have guidance and revenue figures and forward looking guidance as posted by others, then this, if it happens, will be the first time that this has happened and the shorts will be forced to cover, but the markets will be closed if it is announced after hours, hence if Friday is not a trading day, then that will give the shorts several days to panic buy come the Monday following, same scenario if your markets are open on the Friday.
Obviously this is all hypathetical, I think that`s how you spell it, but it would not, in my mind, be a bad time to announce a PR with guidance and revenue projections during the Thanksgiving week.
Now lets think, TKO generally don`t announce any PR`s on a Friday, nor a Monday these days, so if your Thanksgiving is next Thursday, that only leaves Tuesday and Wedsnesday if it is to happen prior to Thanksgiving as many have posted on these boards.
It is my Birthday a week on Sunday the 26th, so I hope it does happen, Tko and us as the shareholders need this.
The shareholders meeting is only 3 weeks away today I believe, so as we all know, the stockmarket is very fickle, if good news does materialise next week, people will have short memories and the shareholders meeting will go just fine, if not, it will be like a lynching!!
Again, these are my thoughts, but let`s say news did come next week and it did come with guidance and revenue figures whether current or forward looking or both, TKO will run quickly and if it breaks $4`s in my opinion, the shorts will cover in their droves and the stock will run possibly to $5-$6`s short term, maybe even higher, who knows, but these are my thoughts.
I have said for almost a month that I will be happy if TKO trades at $2.70 to $2.85 late Oct to mid/late November, which it has and we are here now.
As a preliminary to my Birthday next week, I have rewarded myself with a large chunk of TKO shares this afternoon to show my faith in the Company, the stock and the technology as I do strongly believe in the Company.
A quiet period is not a bad thing and alot of you must know the reasons for the quiet period from your brokers, there is nothing untoward.
To push a car by yourself with the handbrake off, it takes loads of energy and muscle, as it starts to move, it gets easier, if another person helps, it gets even easier.
The TKO car in many minds is trying to be pushed up hill, to me, we are on flat ground and the car is moving, over the next week or two, I feel I will have a whole football team behind me helping me push, oh it will be so easy!!
You all have a good weekend, enjoy the time with your partners, wives, husbands and children and remember, some of the greatest battles have been won when many said it couldn`t be done!!
I`m off karting tomorrow as is my 9yr old Son Jake, just hope it doesn`t rain.
