It doesn't affect me either way, I am good with what is happening. I just think it would be better not to say things like in the last tweet if they were not absolutely sure the draft would be done by then... or that they weren't going to be giving any updates.

Disagree. Think the point mfp is trying to make is that once you say something publicly (whether on Twitter) or anywhere else, you need to follow up. Otherwise, at least some of your credibility is lost!

You don't want to make this a habit, because the more credibility you loose the harder it is to recover some back.

I own a company, that NEVER says anything (well almost never) that it hasn't already done or is doing currently. Its just bad business practice imho.
