Hi Zip ...just posted a tweet from Euro PCR 19 ..shockwave presentation

Re your questions
1) Please refer to SWAV site for history on safety . So far seems very safe , safer then atherectomy and also enables better deployment of stents
2)Coronary stenting . Shockwave enables better deployment of stents and in some cases where blockage is now less than 30% following Shockwave application , interventionists are not deploying stents . ( stents as you know ...are not risk free )
This is especially tru in PAD applications .

Revenue base is expanding .
Interventionists are increasingly using this technology to enable better deployment in TAVR .

Note tho ...no reimbursement yet in US for coronary application as not yet approved in US for coronary .
Is approved for PAD
Shockwave is approved in the EU ....and increased adoption has lead Co to add a production shift to meet demand .

These are early days .
First use of this technology in Asia was May 9th 2019 in Hong Kong ...first use !!!
In Sth Africa ..first use on April 3rd.

Suggest you try and log into presentations at Euro PCR 19

zip...

Going for my first shock wave procedure on the 24 th this month..My doctor is the only one in the Orlando area who does shockwave and is an investigator for the company and part of the cardiac trial...

Right anterior popliteal artery...Had a conventional procedure no stent and the artery (stenosed) in the first 24 hours...

Shock wave will be the SOC for calcified arteries which are a very high percent of blockages..

Any thoughts on the patent situation..
