Found an article from 2016 that states that regular medical waste (RMW) can cost between 20 cents and 50 cents PER POUND to dispose of
That comes out to $400 to $1000 per ton
Now SNPW has to pay a hauler to bring the waste to their facility, and I am sure they would have to offer a discount to the hospitals and other institutions
My guess is they are targeting $200 per ton
That would mean they could be doing $14000 per day, which translates into about $3 million per year
But don't forget that they will also be creating energy with the pyrolysis of the waste
You have to balance that against the costs of running the recycler, but it looks VERY profitable to me
