So say Starbucks announced they were taking over a small coffee company for extra revenue by the name of “Pure Bean” which includes a basic startup website already made/ but all products are listed at $0. Then a few weeks after announcing their take over, they decided to make the shell site temporarily unavailable to fine tune it and add their own products and pricing. Why? Eventually Starbucks put up a “Down for Maintenance” Placard on their Home Page because they had to inform a few chaps- “Hey, don’t try and order coffee here yet because everything is priced at zero. We JUST took over this shell site and brand, things take time.” When shoppers started contacting them asking why can’t they get their Coffee orders at $0, or ignorantly placing orders for $0 to test to see if they can pull a fast one on them, they had no choice but to put up the Maintenance notice. Wow, what a mystery. They must be closed for good! (Insert heavy eye roll).

For the 2 of you on this board who still dont understand how websites and domain registrations work, if the site was legitimately gone for good, then you’d be directed to a domain host page saying domain doesn’t exist. Should they have put up the Down for Maintenance Page sooner? IMO yes. But they probably also didn’t realize people would try and actually buy ghost items at $0 and then turn around and share it on the board that they didn’t get their product. So now the site is down and the couple of dudes still want to complain about something... anything.
I’m damn sure when the website is complete with pricing and lab info/reports, products, domain ownership transfer etc, we will be the first to know it’s up and running. Unfortunately THEN, the Bash Brothers will find something else to get aggressive over like, “What’s up with that green color they’re using for their logo?” “Why aren’t they using the same page layout like <<insert other CBD co. >>?” “What are your thoughts about why I just post random BS and make everything a question??”

DRAMA.
