Following this conversation... It seems to me that the point is, tests are showing CBD does not cause a positive for THC. The article contains technical errors; it would be good to have a follow-up on this article with technical facts stated properly. My opinion is if the CBD one buys is from hemp (Industrial) and not an MJ cultivated strain, there is an implied guarantee. From a few years working in the industry, I have seen CBD oils sold as "industrial hemp derived" which when tested, showed THC higher than 0.3%. Some suppliers (the owner shopped around for best deals, instead of sticking with a known source) did not disclose the source, some manufacturers didn't care where an oil came from, and didn't re-test prior to formulation in product; don't test after formulation, either. Those are the ones giving the CBD industry a bad name.
