Food / Beverage orders are not hard to explain though. Anyone tells you otherwise is trying to trick you.
- Every retailer does inventory at least bi-weekly if not more often. - They place an order for restock right after inventory. - The restock is typically delivered the next day, if not same day. - The order is invoiced at time of delivery.
Possibly a purchase contract can span months & years, but purchase orders do not.
I wonder if it's how purchases orders were structured? It would make sense if someone like Schnucks bought a few large batches, but it's hard to explain.
