First off, I can't see the level 2 right now myself...

Anyhow, you can't assume thst because you cannot tell because on the ASK market makers can only show the amount of shares available for sale at the lowest share price they are processing...

Example...

NITE has 1 client trying to sell 5 million shares at $0.03, another client selling 1 million shares at $0.025... Only the 1 million shares at $0.025 shows, you couldn't see the 5 million shares at $0.03... If NITE had other clients selling shares for more than $0.025, you can't see them until the lower priced shares on the ASK clear...

So if all the other market makers have shares they are selling at say $0.04, you'd say it is thin to $0.04 when in reality there is 5 million sitting between $0.025 and $0.04 that you can't see...

This is true on the BID too but for buying and inverse to the ASK in sense it is the highest bidders order that show...

Only market makers can see what exist at all prices because they can see what's called level 3 data... General traders like you and I can't see level 3 data...
