Valeo is not Si3N4 it uses Si3N4, ive always said ZB was after Si3N4 not Valeo. 2nd gen Si3N4 is still on hold why? Maybe waiting for a strategic partner? 2nd gen blows 1st gen out of the water and this is something Sonny holds close to his chest. Why do I say this? Because there hasnt been 1 study released about 2nd gen except for preliminary results in 2016 which showed almost 200% increase in growth.
If you recall Hanson mentioned that they had product testing issues and this pertained to suppliers back in Q4'17 or Q1'18. Of course he didnt pinpoint which suppliers he was referring to but something was being manufactured and wasnt up to snuff in regards to rigerous testing. So yes ZB could be waiting on a supplier still. Also could be waiting for the new patent to be awarded and Sonny to spin off agribusiness to say, Thermo Fisher (just a hunch). However everything is still within the original 5 year timeline smoker.
You keep claiming Coorstek is involved accept that the connections between Sintx and Coorstek are weak and Sintx already has a backup in Kyocera. While McEntire and khandar were once part of Ceramatec, both stopped working for Ceramatec long before Coorstek bought it out. Thats not even close to the same as Zimmer buying Centerpulse while Link was CEO of Centerpulse.
