I doubt it was just being tired of commuting, although that could be part of it. If so, he would have provided a transition period, not just cut and run. I’m not impressed with the way this was handled. He should have moved to Tustin long ago if he was committed to the job. It could indicate he expected it to be sold sooner rather than later.

Does anyone have any scuttlebutt on what happened? The fact Lias didn’t have any of his marketing people on the last conference call didn’t give me much hope they were bringing in new business of note. They never announced the 2 contracts he referenced in December, so neither must have panned out or they would have been pr’d as he promised. With the huge demand for this industry, and CDMO’s positive inspection record, I have a hard time understanding why they can’t get more traction. If the marketing people aren’t performing, get rid of them.
