I use ThinkorSwim as well, but I don't trade stocks using it. I never funded my account with TD.

Schwab is pretty darn cheap at $4.95 per trade with no hidden fees... but not as cheap as ML which was free because of my BofA checking/savings account. But, as they say, you get what you pay for. I was not happy so I switched. One problem though... I was not able to transfer CCTC from ML to Schwab without liquidating them. Rather than tanking the market, I kept them in place and continued adding at Schwab.
