Well yeah, I'm more of a free thinker than a statistics kind of guy.

Just thinking that with standard of care they try to stretch you life, not trying to improve the quality of life and it's more common for people to think about ending life, in other words stop treatment. Choosing to die is much less a taboo then it was years ago and living the last months/year(s) with higher quality could be prefered.

And then, on the other hand we have Geert talking about curing people... statistics don't count that in.
