298 is total events, so how much does it really say if you don't know who and in what group is dying?

I also hope that they take quality of life in account. That is harder to measure of course but I read an article about a man how had recurring cancer en didn't want chemo and further treatment anymore he wanted quality of life rather than to live longer
Chemo was burning him away. We, in the Netherlands have this a 200KM ice skating tour called the elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour) the one of 1963 was the hardest ever, the last time we had a proper winter. The doctors (and he confirmed it) told him that the chemo would be tougher than that tour.
So if patients live longer I also hope they have a better life and that it's been taken in to account
