6,000 hectares (at 100 MT/ha) is what they need in order to double China's output for shrimp. The yellow circle is 6,000 hectares. Amazing, eh? You can also see the Mega Farm in the top right, not so far away.

The cost? Perhaps $200k per hectare. So you need a couple $100M to start with. And then you can get to 600,000 MT in less than 7 years. 4x quicker than the Mega Farm.

Another interesting thought is, perhaps TRW/AF3 wants to lease the land. Instead of setting up cooperatives. So you get 100% of revenues (as TRW).
