Would you place CURES in the same category as TREATMENTS when it come to
the saving of lives vs the costs?
And really, why the "cost" argument when at this point when no one knows what it will cost.

"Can't afford people living longer" etc.
Could have said that 100 years ago and you would have found a way to control world population. No medicine was affordable then either. So why bother with research, testing, discovery, treatment and cures. Sure , let viral epidemics take their toll.
Sorry too but your point not well taken and borderline inhumane.
