Gers. Myself, I expect at least a partial success, for obtaining all we want would ruin a few of the Businesses, and despite all the damning evidence, making them go bankrupt is a possibility and would be counter-productive to us? We need all the Infringers who are judged guilty, to become Royalty paying members, just like the rest of the HAPPY royalty payers already in the fold! To me, it is just impractical to expect huge MONEY awards, but not a slap in the face either? If any one of the Infringers, oh yes alleged infringers, were found to take Illegal actions in the past, we have them in the Bag so to speak!!!
I hope our bunch of "Lawyers" looked into such a possibility in their investigations? Then even if they made a stupid Business because the sales team of the main alleged culprit, the smaller Companies cannot hurt a Company due to their Greed or unwillingness to investigate the Legalities surrounding each move they make!
All they had to do was ask the SALES People of that Larger Company if they held the Patents to the Machinery in question, they would be vindicated to some degree, but not entirely! The judges might ask; "Where do you have that in writing in any of the contracts you willingly signed into?" But sometimes the competitive nature of Companies will not allow them to go as far as they should?
IMO, tough luck Guys and Gals!!! All Co's are completely immersed in the all-encompassing stranglehold of the Law, and all of them should know that from the very outset! The law covers all that they do from the very beginning to the sometimes bitter end!! IMO...
